What is Rebound Therapy?
Rebound Therapy (R.T.) is the therapeutic use of a trampoline to provide opportunities for movement. Traditionally it is for people with a wide range of special needs and ability levels e.g. the physical activity ranges from being hoisted onto the trampoline and tolerating being gently bounced to independent un-supported standing and seat drop.
Where did it start?
R.T. was developed during the 1980’s by a special school headteacher who noticed the many benefits that R.T. offered his students.
What do we offer?
Rebound Therapy Ltd provides two day courses to train staff to implement, lead and teach Rebound Therapy. Led by experienced special needs teacher Russell Walker, the courses are for staff working in any special needs setting, including schools, NHS, special adult education, special residential centre’s and physiotherapy.
